Shahbaz Foundation is a faith-rooted community foundation based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, turning spiritual conviction into food, care, culture, learning, publishing, and research, with a spiritual lineage that reaches back to Bhagalpur, India, and a history of community relief work in both India and Pakistan.
We believe spiritual growth is inseparable from the way we feed, teach, heal, publish, remember, and gather.
Shahbaz Foundation’s work is taking shape through schools, madrasas, khanqahs, spiritual retreat centres, educational and spiritual activities, publication and research centres, lectures, solar-based energy solutions, and digital infrastructure.

The foundation’s six initiatives, Dastarkhan, Chhaya, The Space, Britto, FAHM, and Shahbaz Academy, are rooted in Dhaka and Rupganj, Bangladesh.
Its story reaches further. Bhagalpur, India is the spiritual home of Maulana Shahbaz, the foundation’s namesake, and also the site of occasional food distribution and charity work. In Pakistan, the foundation has stepped in with food and ration relief when it’s needed most, including in 2022.
